Here’s an example of how it works: Service technicians access a digital work order while in the field using a media tablet. Should he or she be unfamiliar with an installation or repair procedure, the technician accesses a 3D graphic of the fuel pump, for example, zooms into the problem area, and launches a 3D video illustrating the repair process. If there are additional problems, the technician instantly connects to the inventory management system and locates or orders the parts needed for repair.
