Day 3 has come to an end here at MWC 2013. Today, there were many conversations about mobile and big data as well as the opportunities of Machine to Machine (M2M) technologies. SAP product leads and industry experts shared their insights regarding consumer and enterprise use cases for big data and M2M as well as market trends and opportunities.
There are many reasons to talk about mobile, big data, and machine to machine technology. According to a recent Accenture study, 65 percent of shoppers like to receive offers on their smartphones based on past purchases, while in-store. Surprisingly, however, 60% of best in class companies that already use mobile marketing, aren’t yet using customer behavior info to target and segment messaging throughout the mobile channel. Together with David Jonker, she outlines solutions that will create a boom in Big Data analytics.
