On February 20/21, there was an interesting get-together of the world's leading Aviation companies at the World Trade Centre in Moscow.

ATO events hosted the 8th International Aircraft Maintenance conference and exhibition for Russia and CIS in Moscow. All major aircraft manufacturers as well as spare parts and service providers, IT companies and mass media organizations found their way to snowy Moscow to visit and discuss with representatives of the enormous Russian and CIS market, who came from Airlines, aircraft operators as well as from the ecosystem.

SAP presented our MRO IT roadmap and value proposition in an own session. We received very positive feedback for our solution and we're looking forward to fruitful discussions with the representatives from the Russian market and from CIS. Moreover, future cooperation with T&L companies as well as contacts within the A&D have been prepared. We discussed hot topics, like the usage of SAP electronic Logbook functionality to connect aircraft onboard systems and SAP MRO solutions to help the technicians in an operator's maintenance control centre (MCC) to be prepared in advance by receiving information directly from the aircraft, even before landing. This will help to reduce aircraft turn-around-time (TAT) and airport fees.
