Steps to be performed to add new language English India 6E

Note - Below steps is not for maintaining language as log on language

  1. OSS Notes referred :

  1. 42305,73606

  1. Checks  to be performed:

  1. Run report RSCPINST and confirm the language 6E is NOT in the list.

  1. Press F4 help and confirm the same language is not available.

  1. Select "Simulation"  from the toolbar

  1. 4. Read the output and take a backup of this report before adding new language for reference.

  1. Steps to add new language

  1. Add new language code to F4 help
  2. Run report RSCPISOLA  with below input



  1. Press Extend Language List.

  1. Press F4 to select the 2-letter language code that you would like

to add.

  1. Press Execute (F8).

  1. Return to report RSCPINST. Your selected language is now available in F4

help of the Key field.

  1. Press Add button   and from F4 help, select the language you want to install (6E). See  screen below.

   

  1. Select "Simulation"  from the toolbar

  1. 3. Read the output and correct as indicated, if any.   Note down all profile parameter changes mentioned in report, which needs to be maintained manually in RZ10. 

  1. Return to RSCPINST and select "Activate"  from the toolbar.

 

  1. Manually update the DEFAULT profile parameter zcsa/installed_languages

to include new languages installed

  1. You can copy the new value from Simulation / Activation results screen and   paste it into the field in transaction RZ10, for example.

  1. Restart the system after the profile parameter modification.

  1. Final Check.

  1. After server restart (if profile parameter is changed) , login with the new language 6E and maintain the GL descriptions in new language.
