Hello there! Sorry if you've been missing for a couple months the brief Postal Bulletin summaries that I'd been providing steadily here for quite a while, but things have been a little busy lately. On top of the rate case software releases, you've probably heard that we also are working through the transition of SAP Postalsoft Presort to Satori Software, including the transition of most of the dev and test team from SAP to Satori. So that's my reason for being absent on the blogging front for a while.
And this entry will be brief, too, as there are things still to do like wrap up PAVE and MAC Batch certification testing for Presort 8.00c.12, prepare another fix pack for release, get some new directories built soon...OK I'll be tensing up if I keep going <deep breaths!>, but you get the idea.
The PB from today does have a couple DMM revisions in it, but nothing that should affect Presort. They are:
- Usage of Franked Envelopes and Labels
- USPS Tracking/Delivery Confirmation Label Usage
If those things might affect you, obviously check them out, but that looks like the extent of anything DMM-related in the PB. The rest is the "normal" kind of stuff. The next Bulletin would be published on March 7.
