Cloud companies – the service you provide is critical to businesses large and small.  David hints that to provide the level of customer service required, Cloud prices must increase.  Expect customer service become a competitive differentiator?

Stat according to Symantec – I knew the number was high, but not this high – 83% of large enterprises and 70% of SMB’s acknowledge problems with unauthorized Cloud deployments.  As Cloud apps proliferate, IT must be part of the conversation and planning is critical.

Always love to highlight Cloud survey data.  This survey showed that higher education and K-12 Cloud adoption jumped in 2012.  The down side is that state and local governments are slower to adopt.

This post would not be complete without a Cloud Infographic.  By 2015 50% of Cloud apps will be mission critical.  Other data includes identity management and security concerns.  Not a surprise and I agree that the Cloud is also blurring the lines between work and personal life.  I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing.  What is your opinion?

The Cloud for Lawyers.  Clicking though you will see an excerpt from Cloud Computing for Lawyers by Nicole Black.  I’m not surprised there are Cloud based law practice management suites – a few companies – Clio and MyCase are advertisers on the Web page.

Have a great weekend.
