Recently I worked in a scenario where there was a need to convert already live ECC system into IS-Retail system. In this engagement (till that time) they had implemented only procure to pay scenario (and dependent Org Structure and financial settings). Following is synopsis of activities we did to convert an core ECC system to IS-Retail after Retail Switch Activation; Focus here is on converting
a) a) ‘Plant Master’ to “Site Master” ,
b) b) ‘Material Master’ to “Article Master” and dependent settings like Merchandise Category.
after the fact (ie convert key Master Data and Settings in live ECC system).
