Today students and professors of the SAP University Alliances program from California State University, Chico, San Franciso State University, San Jose State University and the University of Nevada, Reno are attending the SAP Startup Forum at SAP Labs in Palo Alto. At these events, students learn more about SAP technologies and programs, give companies insight into what SAP has to offer and gives startups a chance to pitch their ideas to members of the SAP Ecosystem.  The day was full of collaboration, learning and networking with thought leaders while focusing on big data trends and techologies such as SAP HANA. The panel of startup speakers and experts discussed startup ideas, needs and gaps in industry.  A primary focus was how big data changes the way that we make decisions as put forth by Vishal Sikka SAP Executive Board Member.  Students and professors from SAP University Alliances networked with startup company officials, SAP Venture participants, and SAP University Alliances leaders.
