In general we may faced this kind of issue in our business.

while loading from Source to PSA, after several hours loading, due to the couple of erroneuos data packets whole load was failed, at that time below step will will be useful to update only erroneous data packets by manul.

At PSA monitor screen.

it will pop two more proessing of data pakts in diglog or background.

default(yellow) is Packet should be processed in the dialog, but choose 2nd option to run in background.

by choosing, this process only process the erroneous(yellow) data packets rather than pulling whole data again.its simple step but useful.

    Hi Raman,

The above process is small but it’s useful.

my question is before processing any huge data it is better to select this check box ?? or any thing to be specific.

    Regards

    Sree

      Hi hari,

This process need to use whenever your info pack was failed without any error mesage and some data packerts are not be processed with red mark. rather than retriggering whole info pack. just go with above options, thru that its processed only the data packets which are in red.

      Thanks

        Hi Raman,

Lets say the source system job completed and the data selection got ended at BW side as well, but still there are few data packets which are not yet processed and in yellow state.

In general process we do change the status of the data load to red and try to process the hung data packets manually and we used to wait untill that data packet is processed successfully and later the other one this consumes lot of time when there are more data packets which are hung and not processed.

In the above case with out selecting the option data packet processing used to be taken care in the foreground not back ground due to which we need to wait untill the manually processed data packet is successfully processed.

When we check the above setting “init Update” –> Settings for further update” –>select “Packets should be processed in the background”

And when you try to execute the hung data packet the back ground job will be created and we doesn’t need to wait for this data packet to be processed inorder to process the other one. we can process the data packets all at a time by checking the system load.

Hope this helps you to understand why this option is used.

        regards

        KP

      Hi Ramananeyulu,

if the job got completed in ECC and still the data load is showing in yellow status.. First check the TRFC’s in SM58, if any got stuck-up, you need to push them.

even after push the TRFCs the data packets not updated the data into data target, then you can follow the above process to update the data packages into data targets manually.

      Thanks and regards.

      Rambabu
