Top 5 Cloud Tweets of the Week – Special Flu Edition
Sorry for the delay in publishing the Top 5 Cloud Tweets of the Week, but the flu interrupted my blogging plans last week. I’m back and ready to go – better late than never.
Tweet #1 is a classic! Videos of kids describing the Cloud. As the video plays, notice how the definition of the Cloud gets closer to reality.
Tweet #2 is a bit of SAP promotion with Dave Spencer discussing the Cloud with Knowledge@Wharton.
I still question the whole Cloud hype claim. SaaS was the rage 5-6 years ago and has morphed into the Cloud. It’s not hype anymore, it’s reality.
Tweet #3 Leads to some factoids from a BYOD (bring your own device) and Cloud security study from Frost and Sullivan.
- 53% of respondents saying their companies actively allow users, either employees, business partners or both, to connect their devices onto their networks
- 74% of respondents highlighted that new security skills are going to be required to manage the security risks associated with BYOD
Tweet #4 – I always have a weakness in my Tweet tracking for Infographics, so here you go.
- WW Data
- Cloud job estimates
- Where the Cloud economy is headed
Tweet #5 – Great Forbes Blog on how the Cloud helped President Obama in the 2012 election.
Thanks for reading, following and staying in touch.
