Sorry for the delay in publishing the Top 5 Cloud Tweets of the Week, but the flu interrupted my blogging plans last week.  I’m back and ready to go – better late than never.

Tweet #1 is a classic!  Videos of kids describing the Cloud.  As the video plays, notice how the definition of the Cloud gets closer to reality.

Tweet #2 is a bit of SAP promotion with Dave Spencer discussing the Cloud with Knowledge@Wharton

I still question the whole Cloud hype claim.  SaaS was the rage 5-6 years ago and has morphed into the Cloud.  It’s not hype anymore, it’s reality.

Tweet #3 Leads to some factoids from a BYOD (bring your own device) and Cloud security study from Frost and Sullivan.  

  • 53% of respondents saying their companies actively allow users, either employees, business partners or both, to connect their devices onto their networks
  • 74% of respondents highlighted that new security skills are going to be required to manage the security risks associated with BYOD
