    Good day, Brigitte Kleinschmidt

Interesting how SAP helps in Maximize Return on Assets and Return on Capital employed,

    I proposed it in Oct.2016:

    Cost as a Service

    https://www.itcentralstation.com/users/ricardo-dolinski-garrido/projects/12510

    What is it?

Unify in IBM Cloud calculating process of cost per order of works as a service

    How it Works

Unify in IBM Cloud calculating process of cost per order of work from legacy ERP in each subsidiary. The customer value is dispose from the beginning of productive process with all cost of products and its bases of cost applied for manufacturing expenses in each order of works.

A proposed flow in the process of Cost as a Service with the importance of Enterprise Resource Planning ERP would be to:

A.- In the manufacturing sector is important understand use of ERP application because it allows to integrate processes Finance, Distribution and Production data records and obtain comprehensive information. In this proposal project would be register:

a.- Amounts of prime costs: raw materials and labor

b.- Amounts of real manufacturing expenses and real expenses of services.

1.- Cost as a Service: Upload in IBM Cloud with IBM API Connect & IBM Watson, amounts in accounts of cost from legacy ERP in each subsidiary:

1.a.- Amounts of control of direct labor and raw material in production centers

1.b.- Amounts of real manufacturing expenses and real expenses of services on cost centers

B.- In the manufacturing sector is important the cognitive compute in IBM Cloud to calculate costs, because applied make cost calculations in real time and do it at the beginning of the production process with big data crunching.

Identifying marginal changes of high cost increase in real time to get bases of applied cost and get the differences between current costs and applied costs for manufacturing expenses.

Also unifies and improves continuously rules to calculate the corresponding units apportion service charges on cost centers and bases of cost applied for manufacturing expenses.

2.- Cost as a Service: Calculate with cognitive compute IBM Watson located in clouds computing:

2.a.- Get units apportion service charges on cost centers

2.b.- Get bases of cost applied for manufacturing expenses

2.c.- Get the differences between actual costs and costs applied for manufacturing expenses

C.- In the manufacturing sector also is important  the cognitive compute in IBM Cloud to automatically perform the accounting entries corresponding to the cost of production of each order of work in each subsidiary.

3.- Cost as a Service: Download from IBM Cloud with IBM API Connect & IBM Watson, amounts in account of cost in legacy ERP in each subsidiary:

3.a.- Accounting prime costs and manufacturing expenses

    ok
