OTR texts are like text elements in smart-form. They are mainly used for translation purpose and also to avoid the hard coding to label a text in webdynpro application.
To create an OTR text you don’t have to run any transaction. Simply from your webdynpro framework menu option look for Goto->Online Text repository browser.
Click on that option and you will be popped up with the below screen. The screen is modified to hide some data.
Now find out the create icon on this pop up screen and click on that.
Put any name or follow your projects naming standards. Then simply put your required text and save the OTR. You can note down the name for future use.
After creating the OTR you can simply put the $OTR: followed by your OTR text name. Or else click on the F4 help option besides text property and search your OTR.
In the pop up screen you can click on search button and type your text to search your OTR.
But in other way you can check out the below screen option to filter the search.
Then the below screen will open. Now you can type your Package name and user id to find out the OTRs created by you only.
