Since the announcement of SAP Business Suite now being powered by SAP HANA, making customer's core enterprise systems smarter, faster, simpler... I wanted to take a little time to show how Rapid-Deployment Solutions are going to put the "fast & simple" in this huge shift for SAP, our customers and partners.
SAP Rapid Deployment Solutions have revolutionized how customers deploy SAP software, by offering preconfigured software, packaged with the content and tools that allow for implementation services with a fixed price and scope, and generally a 40% reduction in cost and effort. And the proof that this is catching on is in the numbers: +1,700 customers since our soft launch 2 years ago (when we had 5 solutions vs +150 today!); as well as the fact that 25% of all live HANA customers went through a rapid-deployment solution!
Whereas in the past our rapid-deployment solutions acted as a "side car" to a customer's enterprise stack, replicating data from the legacy database to run near real-time reporting for areas like CO-PA, operational reporting and customer segmentation analysis... now, SAP HANA will be the underlying database, beginning first with SAP CRM, and now helping to optimize processes within a customer's ERP, while using transactional data in real-time when it comes to analytics and reporting.
In Q1, we'll be launching the SAP ERP rapid-deployment solution powered by SAP HANA, as well as our Rapid database migration for SAP Business Suite to SAP HANA, helping to support new SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA installations get up and running in 19-21 weeks with a fixed price and scope, as well as supporting existing SAP Business Suite customer to migrate to SAP HANA, the fast and simple way.
