My baby steps into SUP

I have been always interested in taking a deep dive into Sybase Unwired Platform. I was very interested in SAP Mobile for CRM but that never happened. Mobility has been the buzzword in SAP since 2010 and I have been listening a lot about this.My eureka moment happened when I attended SAP Inside Track 2012 and my fire to learn SUP was reignited. Hence I decided to explore further and came across this wonderful resource SAP Apps Partner program where the SAP technical architects and development provide training. A very good resource for beginners to prime their concepts.

And after you have gained enough theoratical knowledge , you can have some hands on using the free 30 day trail version. For all those who need some tutorials for hands on videos.

There is a whole channel in Youtube , dedicated to to this SUP Learning.

This would be a very good staring point. Also some things are more difficult till you go head long into it. I did go through SAP Netweaver Gateway as well.l In isolation it looked good but once you think of consuming the data from business suite, the need for ODATA services make perfect sense. The SAP Apps Partner Program contain 4 series of videos on how to build ODATA services.

I think SAP is also doing a lot in making the content in form of videos , blogs  and articles. And since everything is free , I am loving it.
