Service Management – Assign Default Values for Settlement Areas to Order Types

This piece of service management configuration is another simple piece.  Setting the default value for settlement area is simply 1 field.  However, the biggest thing to note is that this piece of configuration does NOT copy over when you copy a service order type.  So if you copy an existing order type, you must still go in and set this value.

You can find this step in SPRO here.

Notice this configuration is plant and order type specific.

Simply enter in the processing group.  Typically, for service orders you will select internal order, but as a sampling, here’s a partial list from the pull down menu.

As always, choose wisely, and don’t forget to choose. 🙂
