First off, let me extend my best wishes to everyone in the ESP community for the new year ahead.
As we see adoption of ESP grow rapidly, we are naturally getting lots of questions and requests for information on how to do things that isn’t covered in the ESP documentation. While our doc team takes note of these and continues to improve and expand the formal ESP documentation, they’ll never be able to address everything. And that’s where the ESP community, and the ESP Developer Center comes in: collaboration and sharing. In addition to the discussion forum and the information that the product team publishes in the dev center, I’d like to point out that all members of the community have the ability to contribute information. This can be as posts in the discussion forum, blog posts, and also html pages (documents). Also note, when you post a document, you can control the collaboration settings and allow others to edit the doc – thus behaving much like a Wiki.
So as we head into the new year, I’d like to ask everyone to keep the community in mind and share your expertise. Of course continue to ask questions and give us feedback on how we can improve the information available to you, but as you come across insight that others can benefit from, please share it with the community. And we’ll do the same.
Here’s to an excellent 2013!
