This is a how to for the Search & Replace Function in Data Services 4.0 SP1

In your Data Flow, double click on Query Transform

Select title, and in mapping delete the expression CUSTOMER.CONTACTTITLE

Click the functions button, select String Functions, select Search_Replace and click Next

Enter data as shown below.  We’ll search for Accounting Manager and replace with Account Manager

Notice the query generated

Now execute the data flow job and review the log

Now review the results and notice that Account Manager has replaced Accounting Manager

    But I think ifelse, search_replace and decode work the same way. Could you please clear my confusion on this?
