Mobile BI 4.4.12 with Dashboards Support is NOW OUT!!

In this blog I'm discussing the release of Mobile BI 4.4.12, anyone that wanted to create dashboards on the Mobile BI for iPad and iPhone knows how long we have all been waiting for this.

Lets jump right in.

As we can see the new version is available on the Apple store, we can clearly see in the "What's New" section that Dashboards is supported.

Once you have updated or installed the new version you will notice that we have extra samples. There are two crsytal report samples added, then three dashboard samples added.

The Crystal Reports samples added are

• Fortify Financial Report 2012
• Letters of Collection

The dashboards samples added are

• Sales Profitability
• Store Manager
• Sustainability

My favourite dashboard is Sales Profitability. It is the most interactive dashboard sample and shows how the controls work. Also notice that the pie chart has a slice that is detached from the rest of the pie chart. This is the one that has the focus, the remaining charts are related to this slice.

We can then switch to the profitability tab that shows a "what if" scenario where we can change the controls to see how it effects the different areas
