Students and faculty from SAP University Alliances member school, HEC Montreal, participated in “SAP HANA CodeJam” at SAP Labs Montreal on Dec. 13, 2012. They learned about the SAP HANA platform and how it is enabling companies to capitalize on their “big data” for competitive advantage. The students gained hands-on experience with the assistance of SAP HANA development specialists. They met SAP customers who were also experiencing SAP HANA.
“Thank you for this opportunity to come to SAP Labs, learn about HANA, and get hands-on with this cool technology,” said Stefanie Bourgault, Masters in IS student.
“It was great to meet SAP HANA experts and see how SAP customers can create innovative applications with HANA,” said Nicolas Peterson, Masters in IS student.
Assistant Professor Stefan Tams commented, “I now see how HANA is opening up new opportunities for companies to leverage data in their SAP ERP systems for greater insight and improved performance. Thanks, too, for letting me know about the new SAP HANA curriculum including educational resources at SAPHANA.com…this is important for my students to learn!”
