UPDATE: 85 Registrations EOD Thursday – 9 sessions including 2 Guest sessions – #SITIND Bangalore Edition all set to Go!
I have to admit Kumud beat me by couple of hours in pushing out her blog post on SAP Inside Track India taking place this Saturday at SAP Labs, Bangalore. I have my personal reasons for posting my blog late but nevertheless I shall go ahead and post it.
Last weekend was a marathon of SAP Inside Tracks with Washington DC on Friday followed by Singapore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Netherlands on Saturday. The final SAP Inside Track(s) of 2012 happens right here in Bangalore and Chennai this Saturday Dec 15th. So any SAP enthusiasts in these two cities must grab the opportunity to come down to SAP Labs, Bangalore or IBM India DLF IT Park, Chennai to participate in person. In case you want to be virtual attendee keep tuned in the SAP Connect session link will be posted as soon as we get it.
What started 3 years back in 14th August 2010 at SAP Labs Bangalore as the first SAP Inside Track India truly has become an pan-India phenomenon in 3 years. In 2011 we had the event simultaneously at Bangalore and Kolkata while this year it takes place at four cities (spread over two weekend to make logistics little easier). Also for first time SAP Inside Track Bangalore is able to pull off all local sessions thanks to the tremendous interest and enthusiasm shown by Community Members. No it is not that we did not want remote sessions by the who’s who of SDN world namely Jim Spath, Thomas Jung and Gregor Wolf along with C5 team of Jon Reed, Martin Gillet, Leonardo De Araujo in 2011 and Dennis Howlett, Jon Reed, Michael Koch, Craig Cmehil and Anne Kathrine Petteroe in 2010, it shows the maturity and interest of local Community submitting close to 10 sessions at Bangalore alone.
The final agenda for this Saturday’s Bangalore edition boasts of two Guest presentations – one local HANA Startup program participant that I was introduced SAP TechEd Bangalore and another (TBC) from Business By Design Cloud Solution Management. Rest of the day boasts of 8 community sessions covering wide range of topics from Process Orchestration, SAP Cloud aka Neo, GRC & SOD in Access Control, LVM, HANA Demo to functional one like SAP Sourcing and couple of odd ones like one of the SAP InnoJam entrants and my session without slides or any demo 😉 . The 7 presentations vying for Best Presentation spot with 20 minutes of their own pitch and 10 minutes of Q&A can remind of DemoJam, but it is the spirit of sharing knowledge, tips and tricks experienced with the bigger SAP Community will be more prominent.
If the participants there is nothing more that engaging in these myriad SAP related topics and good fun networking over lunch and tea/coffee then think again – they will get a special coupon code for downloading FREE copy of SAP HANA Essentials ebook by the author himself – Jeffery Word. So why are you waiting especially if you are in Bangalore or Chennai this Saturday – REGISTER NOW and bring in your best enthusiasm and cheerful mood this Saturday morning.
