My name is Nir Slakman and I am a developer in the development group of SAP NetWeaver Portal – Enterprise Workspaces, in SAP Labs.
Enterprise Workspaces is an addon-on SAP Netweaver Portal. It provides a flexible, intuitive environment to compose, integrate, organize and share content from SAP or NON-SAP systems.By supporting mobile scenarios, it extends the SAP Netweaver Portal mobile, social and collaborative capabilities.
The initial and prime goal of SAP Enterprise Workspaces is to enable quick and easy re-combination of existing corporate assets, with emphasis on structured content such as reports or applications. An end user can decide whether they use it for their own benefit as a virtual desktop, or to share the newly adapted UI with others.
In this post I want to share with you that together with my team we have decided to publish a series of posts on technical aspects of enterprise workspaces, to show the benefits and the ease of use and maintenance.
This post will be used as table of content (TOC) of this series of posts and will be updated each time a new post is added, so you can use it as the entry point.
I invite you to follow us and learn more about Portal and enterprise workspaces.
Stay tuned and keep following! Our next post will be published soon.
