At the end of Q3, Lars Delgaard wrote a blog in which he announced that SAP Business ByDesign had its best quarter ever.  In the blog he referred to some very large wins amongst our enterprise customers, but what about amongst SMEs in the UK?

The UK also had an outstanding quarter, in fact ByDesign SME sales in the UK have gone from strength to strength throughout the year.  And what customers we have signed.

There is Genius Foods who were founded in 2007 based on a Mum's quest to find tasty Gluten free food.  The company is going strong, in June this year Lucinda Bruce-Gardyne won the Ernst and Young Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Scotland and was shortlisted for Business Woman of the Year in the Private Business Awards.  You can see more about their journey from start up in 2007 to award winning company in 2012 here.  Genius Foods recently signed a deal to implement SAP Business ByDesign in order to give an integrated view across their business. Business development is enhanced with the benefit of strong financial reporting and clear commercial information. Customer relationship management will be streamlined and customer care improved.

Then there is Panorama Antennas a family business now in its third generation. Founded by Leon Jesman and partners as JFJ Ltd in 1947 the organisation began operating in a highly competitive consumer focused market.  In 1947, J.F.J. Products was one of the many small, light engineering enterprises set up after the war by ex-servicemen.  The philosophy of J.F.J. Products was to identify a customer need, and to supply it more quickly and with better products than anyone else. This approach involved a lot of trial and error in a volatile market place.   In the early 1980’s, investments in new technology included the installation of a networked computer system for materials and resources planning.   Panorama are so well respected in their field that they even have Prime Ministers coming to visit .  Panorama Antennas  the British manufacturer of mobile radio antennas, implemented SAP Business ByDesign to gain real-time information for better planning and decision making.

And what about Rondanini managed by the De Vito family since 1989.  They supply the leading supermarket groups with both branded and own label fine foods as well as the leading foodservice and restaurant groups. In addition to importing food to Britain, they now also export to Ireland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary.   Rondanini needed accurate stock level data, more control over their business, and to increase the sophistication of their business data analysis and so they turned to SAP Business ByDesign. The solution was also installed in their Sister company Salvo to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of all their departments.

And one of our first customers, De Villiers Walton will be celebrating 10 years in business in 2013. Founded in 2003 by Daneel de Villiers and Darron Walton, De Villiers Walton is a specialist SAP advisory and implementation services company operating in Europe and North America. They architect and deliver solutions based on SAP software and have particular expertise in SAP CRM and SAP BI.   In 2011 they became one of the first companies in the world to implement SAP Business ByDesign to gain better visibility and control over their sales and marketing processes. In 2013 they will achieve their long-term goal of understanding project profitability by completing the roll out of SAP Business ByDesign professional services functionality to users in the UK and USA

And finally Small Media is a not for profit organisation supporting free flow of information in closed societies. They analyze the flow of information in order to search for ways to reflect the full gamut of opinion in countries without the full internet and press freedoms we are used to. They conduct research, provide training and support the development of technological solutions – believing that small media can lead to big change.

All of these customers are being serviced by the SAP Cloud Partner network Cofficient, InCloud Solutions, Enterprise on Demand, and Edson Consulting  to find a partner local to you click here or to learn more  go to our website.
