Which note listed in the SAP Netweaver Gateway release note has to be applied when installing or upgrading SAP NetWeaver Gateway ?

Today I was asked by a partner which notes that are listed in the SAP NetWeaver Gateway 2.0 release note  have to be applied when installing SAP NetWeaver Gateway ?

When you want to check this for your local system the transaction SNOTE will help you. From the menu select “Goto –> Download SAP Note” or press the button with green arrow pointing to the right.

On the next screen select the button “Multiple Selection”.

In the following window you can enter multiple notes (we currently have around 36 notes 😉 that you want to check out).

You can retrieve the note numbers from the SAP NetWeaver Gateway 2.0 release note  in a browser and selecting the link “Related Notes” or selecting them from the note text.

I have also created an Excel Sheet that allows you to this check without starting SNOTE in a system so that you are able to compile a list of notes that have to be applied depeding on the components you are going to deploy (Gateway server or backend AddOn’s) and depending on the basis support package level that has been applied to the system where you plan to install the SAP Netweaver Gateway components.
