Text Determination Procedure

It is used to define various texts or notes  in the texts tab in the transaction.Now these can be creted and modified based on requirement.

Already, why this text management is used is described in SCN WIKI. Now here is the text determination procedure.It is explained taking an example.

To create text determination procedure follow the steps.

Step 1: Determine text objects and text objects.

Step 2: Determine text determination procedure.

Step 3: Assign text determination procedure to the  transaction.

STEP 1:

Follow the path SPRO>CRM>BASIC FUNCTIONS> TEXT MANAGEMENT>DEFINE TEXT OBJECTS AND TEXT TYPES.

Click on Execute to define TEXT TYPES.

Select  crm_orderh and double click on it.

Then click on new icon on top and create new notes.

Then the text notes will be displayed in text ids as shown below.

Similarly create number of text ids as many as required.

Step 2:

Follow the path SPRO>CRM>BASIC FUNCTIONS> TEXT MANAGEMENT>Define Text  Determination procedure.

DEFINING TEXT DET PROCEDURE:

Then select text object CRM_ORDERH as shown below.

Click on new entries and Give text determination procedure name and description

Then click on definition of procedure and insert text ids and write the sequence numbers in which order we want to display it on the end transaction screen.

STEP 3:

ASSIGNING TO TRANSACTION TYPE:

Then follow the path SPRO>CRM>TRANSACTIONS >BASIC SETTINGS >DEFINE TRANSACTION TYPES.

And select the required transaction and double click on it to go into the definition of that transaction then assign text determination procedure to it as shown below.

It will be replicated in  IN CRMD_ORDER as below.
