SAP NetWeaver Gateway @ SAP TechEd Bangalore 2012
The SAP TechEd started today 28 November @ Bangalore and what a first day; the flow of people and Keynote was great.
SAP NetWeaver Gateway had a packed day. There were two session on Gateway
The first session was a lecture session by Shiri Levi TEC107 – SAP NetWeaver Gateway Overview – Road Map and Strategy
The session was full with around 100 participants attending. The session was from 2:30PM till 3:30PM and I could see people waiting after the session finished to ask questions. This time the questions were very specific and it shows the participants had experience on Gateway.
Shiri also showed the Gateway and HANA App demo in the presentation
The second session today was CD160 – SAP Netweaver Gateway development for beginners by Suparna Deb and Jobin John. Divya Sivaraman and Sunder Poovananathan were also their helping the participants with their exercises. Looking at the numbers having Divya and Sunder in the room was a great.
This was a hands-on session and the session was fully booked. Seeing the volume there were more chairs put. I could count 100 people in the room for this session-on. The session started at 4:00PM and was for two hours. Most participants were there to learn what’s new in SAP NetWeaver Gateway and were eager to do the exercise.
Tomorrow, 29 November, our Partners talk about their experience building solutions using SAP NetWeaver Gateway live on SAP TechEd TV and in the session CD204 – SAP NetWeaver Gateway and OData in detail; that would be exciting.
