Getting started with Sybase IQ

In this blog I’m going to focus on how you can get your hands on the Sybase IQ software and the quick start guides.

To get the software you can either download

  • Sybase IQ Express Edition
  • Sybase IQ 15.4 Evaluation Edition

Sybase IQ Express Edition is the full version as Sybase IQ 15.4 with a limitation of 5 GB. There is a license key required for Sybase IQ Express Edition, the license key is embedded in the Express Edition install.

Then Sybase IQ 15.4 Evaluation Edition wont have the 5 GB limitation but will only be valid for 30 days, unless you enter a license key.

Here you will be able to get the guides, data and queries.
