Prerequisite for opening Dashboard on iPad:
SAP BusinessObjects Mobile BI 4.4 (iPad App) is needed for viewing dashboards on iPad and BI Platform is needed to host the dashboard. In short, Xcelsius Dashboard developer can export dashboard to BI Platform in HTML 5 (Mobile) format and users can access it from iPad using SAP BusinessObjects Mobile BI 4.4 (iPad App).

Any ideas on when will the version of the BI platform for the EDGE version be available??
We have been waiting a looong time for bringing our dashboards to ipad mobile app
'SBOP DASHBOARDS 4.0 SP05' is available . but for 'SBOP EDGE BI 4.0' I can only see SP04 fro www.service.sap.com/swdc
Given that SP 05 came out for SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence platform 4.0 only last week, there must be some lag.
I'll try to find out for you.

Actually, you are good to go!
I've just it confirmed to me: a) You use the full-build SP04 EDGE installation, then b) upgrade the platform with SP05 patch.
i found it under www.service.sap.com/swdc > Support Packages and Patches > AZ-index > E > SBOP EDGE BI" SBOP EDGE BI 4.0
