HANA and Technology Innovation at #SAPPHIRENOW and #SAPTechEd from Madrid
I’m very excited about the Database & Technology Campus Life at SAPPHIRE NOW and TechEd from Madrid. It’s been incredibly busy and very interesting to hear customers telling their stories to customers.
The first day got kicked off by Bill McDermott’s and Jim Snabe’s keynote. For me one of the most interesting themes was the technology innovation and renewal for specific industries, e.g. how the iPod or iTunes revolutionized the music industry and how SAP has specific solutions such as HANA that do change complete industries and the way people work. We’ve had the announcement of the CRM on HANA Launch, also called SAP 360 Customer Experience, and it’s one of the most popular topics in our campus. Both, the TechEd sessions and our demo table were packed.
In addition, we’ve had a special guest on our campus, Luisa Deplazes Delgado, Executive Board Member in charge of HR, wanted to learn more about CRM on HANA.
Big news today! Jeff Words launched the second edition of the SAP HANA Essentials e-Book that you can download for free by using this code: 3AF36B4E Become a HANA expert!
But it was not only all HANA. We had some great discussions around Information Governance, the NetWeaver Roadmap, how SAP runs SAP and customer roundtables for solutions such as SAP NetWeaver Gateway.
One of the highlights was to hear use-cases from our startups that participate in the SAP Startup Focus Program. If you want more information on the program go to: http://www.spr.ly/sapstartups
You want to follow tomorrow? Follow @SAPInMemory, @D_Sieber or @SAPDataTech for campus news and highlights.
I cannot wait for tomorrow, because this is our HANA and Technology day! Dr. Vishal Sikka will tell you more amazing news in his keynote at 5.30 pm in Hall 6. We’re definitely going to have one of the biggest highlights at the end of SAPPHIRE NOW and TechEd! You are not in Madrid? You can watch the keynote live without registering at www.facebook.com/sapphirenow.
Nos vemos manana!
