Hello SAP Portal community,

Back in September, we announced a portal show-off challenge and invited you to share with us and the entire community your best portal implementations. Last month during SAP TechEd Las Vegas, I was joined by Carolyn Pang who presented the City of Burnaby portal and Tobias Hofmann who presented his own portal implementation.

Next week at SAP TechEd Madrid, I expect additional customers to join me to share their implementations and those of you planning to attend the conference are welcome to join my expert networking session: EXP198 scheduled for Thursday, Nov 15 at 1pm.

Customers and partners who joined the challenge and wish to present their work – add a comment below and point to your original challenge blog.

Our just released Cloud Portal end-of-the-year challenge is also going to take a part in this session. Read Ifat‘s blog to start your own cloud portal trial and participate in our challenge.

What’s next? How about a clip of the best portal implementations?

If you want your portal to be featured in such a clip, don’t forget to pay the fee: a blog detailing your portal implementation linked to Aviad’s original challenge blog.

Read Vera‘s blog for all the SAP NetWeaver Portal portfolio ‘action’ in Madrid.

Hasta Luego,

Amir.

    Hi Rene,

Thanks for submitting this. I would like to focus on the customers on-site and would probably do a poor job of presenting it myself anyhow. I don’t see a way to connect you remotely as the wireless network here is quite limited.

I suggest we touch base after the event to discuss this. We’re thinking of creating a clip or even doing a webinar to showcase all the different implementations we received.

    Regards,

    Amir.

Thank you Thorsten Kniewel of Deutsche Telekom and Lars Laegner of Btexx for joining me and presenting your creative implementations of the portal.

It’s going to be very difficult to pick a winner but we would soon decide and announce.

    Regards,

    Amir.
