NA/LA: Experience SAP HANA at ICIS 2012 (December 18, 2012)

The University Alliances Americas team introduced SAP HANA @ University Alliances to professors and students attending the 2012 International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS). Held December 16-18, 2012 in Orlando, Florida, USA, the conference was attended by nearly 1,500 academics. The University Alliances team featured SAP HANA and in-memory analytics at our booth and our team was constantly busy sharing the HANA message and University Alliances’ new strategy. All booth visitors were invited to attend a workshop on December 18th: “A Game Changer: In-Memory Analytics Using the SAP HANA Platform.” Fifty professors and eight students attended this hands-on HANA session, and another 23 academics requested follow-up information on HANA and available educational resources.
