What’s new for Explorer Mobile 4.1

Here are the details from the ASUG webcast given by Paul Ekeland and Alexandre Fortin – Explorer Product Management. SAP is going to release the next version of Explorer Mobile (4.1) in November 2012. The key focus of this release is iPhone support on BI 4.0 SP4 and above.

The connection screen was completely reworked for both iPhone and iPad and now offers improved usability when dealing with multiple connections.

Like the iPad app, iPhone version can now zoom & pan on charts, which improves the visualization and allows the user to focus on a specific range of data points.

The application offers full support of iOS 6 map for both iPhone and iPad.

Tap and hold two seconds and then a contextual help will appear for all screens.
