Different ways of creating tables in SAP HANA

We can create tables in two different types in SAP HANA.

  1. Using SQL Editor
  2. Using Information Modeler

Following video shows us how to create tables using both ways.

Thanks,

      Hello Rohit,

it's a good thing to be able to make screen action videos including voice over.

      But still: content is king!

Please come up with something better than the video version of a part of the product documentation!

Why don't you share your experiences with table management instead?

Why don't you tell us what you like about the column store or dislike about the table editor or whatever?

Seriously, that's the kind of stuff I'd like to read and watch.

Product-documentation and re-re-posted obvious matter to me is just one thing: a waste of my (anyhow short) attention span.

      Cheers, Lars

      Hi Rohit,

I must say I agree with Lars - reposting product documentation just wastes time...

I'm really interested in how the column store works for on-line transaction applications? How does it handle updates (especially large SQL updates)? Traditionally column stores are very inefficient at doing that. Does the same apply to HANA?
