As I previously posted in my blog SAP ISO 20022 Common Global Implementation, SAP established a co-operative initiative with banks and corporates to develop maps between ISO 20022 payment and cash management transactions and SAP internal data fields.  An outcome of this initiative has been native support in the Payment Medium Workbench for pain.001.001.03 Credit Transfer Initiation as Note 1665873 as described in SAP Partners with Banks and Customers to Speed Delivery of Corporate-to-Bank Connectivity Support Part 1.  The related map was also published along with a detailed explanation in SAP Partners with Banks and Customers to Speed Delivery of Corporate-to-Bank Connectivity  Part 2.

I am now pleased to report that the map for Direct Debit pain 008.001.02 has been completed, and the results incorporated in the Payment Medium Workbench available as pilot release note 1737313. Interested customers can submit a Customer Support Ticket for activation as part of a supported installation.

Additionally, the map between the CGI template and our internal data fields is in final editing. This map contains an explanation of the source table and element for each CGI element we support, as well as additional technical insight on how we are supporting the different elements. Once posted in SCN, it will be available for any interested party to download.

Finally, with respect to the Credit Transfer Initiation transaction, I have developed an annotated version of the ISO 20022 XSD which contains all CGI and SAP mapping information identical to what is in the spreadsheet.  I have also developed an XML instance of this same information.  I anticipate release of both of these in the near future once final editorial review has been conducted.
