Dear Undecided Mobility Customer…

Dear Undecided Mobility Customer,

I am the Global Rollout Manager for SAP Mobile rapid-deployment solutoins and would like to engage in an open dialogue with you.

What I’d like to talk with you about are the opportunities and benefits that mobilizing your Enterprise bring to you. In terms of having a scalable mobile strategy for your organization, supplying updated information to your employees as well as unwiring the employees who need to be in the Field.

It cant’ be denied that the whole world is witness to a revolution in the mobile area. Whether it is the way we use mobile devices to enrich our private lives or by deploying mobile devices in an Enterprise and reaping benefits of having information at your fingertips. When you need it, wherever you are. (Check out my other blog on Mobility Trends)

I’d like to personally invite you to the SAPPHIRE Madrid where we will run two 45-minute micro forums on these topics:

One, where we talk about applications – whether these applications be simple lightweight productivity apps like “Leave Request Approval” or full blown solutions ported to work on mobile devices like the “SAP Mobile Sales rapid-deployment solution”, this will be the session where we can jointly discuss your needs.

The other, where we will discuss the need for a Mobile Enterprise Application Platform as well as Mobile Device Management. Whether you’re looking for a discussion on how to best implement BYOD within your organization or how to make sure your corporate network isn’t breached due to a non-secure device, this session will provide sufficient food for thought.

We will also feature a Discussion Table where we will be present all 3 days of SAPPHIRE if you cannot make it to the sessions mentioned above or if you’ve attended the sessions and are looking for more information.

Gone are the days when users had to accept a top-down mobile strategy on what can be done and how it should be done. It is becoming gradually but steadily accepted within organizations that users want to use a device of their choice to perform their duties. The BYOD approach is an end result of this rebellion.

While it makes sense for companies to allow users to being their own devices, this also opens up a whole new discussion on how these devices are integrated into your enterprise mobile strategy and how you ensure that these devices are provisioned with enterprise grade security.

Now, the whole point of mobile is right here, right now. And, with this mindset, it is not an option to go through an installation project spanning across months or years before you have a scalable mobile infrastructure and start realizing the benefits of mobility.
