Cloud is one of the strategic directions for SAP and various organizations are looking forward for the cloud applications.

 

1. Account Creation procedure for NW Cloud Portal

 

Please find below the procedure to create the SAP Cloud Portal account and how to create cloud application using the NW cloud.

 

First we need to create the user account with SAP NW cloud. For this SAP gives three options.

 

Use the below URL to navigate to the cloud marketing Portal created by SAP to try out the SAP NW Cloud Portal platform.

Once you open the site you will get the below site with option Try It

Click on Try It,

Prerequisite to create the trial version account is, you should have SCN account (S-ID), if not then create your own SCN account.

 

You need to accept the SCN end user license agreement as shown below in order to get access to Trial version of NW Cloud Portal.

Once you Read and Agree to the license agreement and submit the data as shown below, you will be prompted to create the Trial account.

2. Develop First NW Cloud Site

 

Below is the step by step procedure to create the first NW Cloud Site.

Click on New Site on the upper right corner. A prompt will come to enter the name of the site and related description as shown below.

A new blank site is created as shown below, click on the New Page + to add the pages to your site. Provide the name to the page.

Add different catalogs as shown below,

Once you add the required catalog items on your page. Now it’s time to publish the site.

 

Go to Settings IKON in the right panel as shown below and click on Publish the site.

A confirmation message will be displayed, click on Publish.

Based on access, the invitation will be sent to all the users.

 

You can manage the access to published site by accessing the Manage User IKON in the right hand panel.

Below is the wizard were you can edit/manage all your sites.

By default a QR code is generated for all the sites which can be scanned on any of the mobile device to access the site. You can send the
link as well to users to access the site.

Add the various widgets using the Add widget which you can utilize on your site as shown below,

By default SAP provides the theme for NW Cloud on Portal. You can add a custom theme as per the requirement. Adding a custom theme is very
simple method where you need to provide the .css file and upload it to the theme as shown below.

 

Administrator can add the user access and grant Administrator or Creator access to the particular site based on the requirement. You can add
users as per the requirement.
