Day two of TechEd was as busy for Duet Enterprise as day one.  The booth was a magnet for customers and prospects.

They stopped to try a live demo of the DE enabled solution (follow a step-by-step script and experience the compelling, user-friendly access to SAP data and processes enriched by collaborative features of Sharepoint)

Spontaneous live discussions were taking place throughout the day.  Some will result in signed deals and new happy customers! DEdemodiscussion.JPG

Duet Enterprise overview was presented as a part of the TEC 107 SAP NetWeaver Gateway Overview and Roadmap session (picture below).  You probably know that Duet Enterprise and SAP NetWeaver Gateway form the Information Worker division at SAP and share the same Chief Solution Owner.  Duet Enterprise is built on SAP NetWeaver Gateway platform and benefits from its latest development and integration with SAP backend technologies.

The session was well attended, but as usual the seats in the front were vacant while the crowd gathered in the back.  Don’t we all prefer to hide in the back of the room?

The session will be repeated tomorrow, on Thursday, so if you missed it, you have another chance!

But undoubtfully the main success of the day was the second customer roundtable with GTAT:

You remember from yesterday’s blog and announcements that the first session was oversubscribed, and we scheduled the additional session for the next day, Wednesday.  Overall 20 customers and companies in the active evaluation stage attended both sessions which were by-invitation-only.  My previous blog contains detailed information about GTAT.

Today we want to thank Tom Doyle, CIO and Catherine Joyal, business analyst from GTAT for their willingness to share their experiences and host an additional session!  Thank you for your generosity and loyalty!  Watch for the GTAT success story – it will be soon published at www.duet.com and on our SCN Duet Enterprise page.   GTAT Duet Enterprise existing implementation focuses on reviewing and approving purchase orders, creation of non-stock purchase orders, and reporting available directly in Microsoft SharePoint. More is under way.

You can view a brief video with a number of partner built solutions on the SAPDuetEnterprise YouTube channel.  Seeing is believing, and we invite you to browse our YouTube channel and subscribe to receive the latest updates.

Till later,

Duet Enterprise Solution Management team
