Configuring WebDAV for RSP needs (IIS+Apache)

Since publishing previous entry I was approached by several people with the question on how to setup WebDAV for processes related to RSP. Basically the setup should not differ to what vendors are presenting in their whitepapres, however to summarize the discussion we have created 3 SAP Notes related to that topic, these are:

• SAP Note 1637677 – summarizing on which WebDAV releases we have performed tests.
• SAP Note 1697750 – summarizes information on how to configure WebDAV on Microsoft IIS
• SAP Note 1776656 – provides information on how to configure mod for Apache WebDAV

Of course, all topics related to the system security should be discussed with system administrators, the notes however should help in technical implementation.
