Attending SAP TechEd? Then don’t miss it!

/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/673128220_147016.jpgSo, the first day of the SAP TechEd Las Vegas is behind us. Everyone I talked to so far was positive about the experience. Yet from the same discussions I noticed that almost everyone is missing one of the hidden gems of the conference:

The Clubhouse

If you think that TechEd is about education and lecture plus hands-on sessions – you are right. But if you think that TechEd is only about education and lecture plus hands-on sessions – you are wrong! The conference is about networking and fun too!

And the Community Clubhouse has great things to offer. I do not need to repeat them all, but you can easily check blog Krysten Bradley written “BACK, by Popular Demand – the Clubhouse!” by yourself.

So, before you leave the conference, make sure you swing by The Clubhouse, and talk about Developer programs and activities on our “Developer Experience” (the guys behind developers.sap.com) booth right next to Perfect Shot (no it is not the one on the right, but you can do that one too in the Photo Booth too 🙂 ). Then sip some gourmet coffee, recharge your phone and yourself while unleashing your creativity at LEGO or Robot Fight station. You can re-charge to the max limits, while giving your brain a break with Car Racing. And as you are here already, have a look at what’s going on the stage of the Clubhouse Theater, like:

  • Wednesday, October 17, 02:00 pm – 02:30 pm – Non-disruptive HANA Optimization for Business Suite with Omar Rahman
  • Thursday, October 18, 10:30 am – 11:00 am – Two for one!  What’s New in SUP 2.2 Hybrid Apps and How to Connect PhoneGap to Gateway – Session on Mobile Development with Dave Fish and Ingo Sauerzapf
  • Thursday, October 18, 01:00 pm – 01:30 pm – What to Expect from SAP PowerBuilder 15 with Dave Fish
  • Thursday, October 18, 02:30 pm – 03:00 pm – Hackathon Presentation: Using HANA to Visualize Home Energy Usage – featuring Michael Fischer, winner of the SAP HANA Hacker at TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon in San Francisco

The Clubhouse is as well the place where you have a high chance to see and talk to many SAP Mentors or SCNotty Award self-nominees: Matt Harding, Moya Watson, Greg Myers, Sylvia Santelli, Marek Kowalkiewicz or Alvaro Tejada Galindo.

See you at The Clubhouse then!! Do not miss this part of SAP TechEd community experience!
