The ASUG SAP BusinessObjects User Conference + SAP Analytics Forum wrapped up last month and we have seen a lot of positive energy coming out of the event. Customers and partners were really excited to see innovations from our analytics portfolio and I’d like to share this customer quote:
“This was one of the best Business Objects related conferences in a long time. As a 15 year veteran of the software I look forward to all of the improvements and innovations that are in the pipeline.”
The event was well attended – over 1,000 attendees and filled with great content with over 200 education sessions and 20 hands-on sessions. Customers shared their best practices too: Allstate, 3M, Rent-A-Center, Intuit and NASA to name a few.
We had a full analytics track and a booth showcasing our analytics solutions and the value it can bring on top of BI investments, our demo theater was a hit – it was packed at each session. And on top of all that, we made our analytics team accessible to our customers with the birds of a feather lunch tables and at the town hall.

The must see recording is the day two keynote with John Schweitzer and Adam Binnie as they went “Back to the BI Future” with a main stage demo of the latest version of SAP Visual Intelligence.
