Problems we are trying to solve using HANA:
Weissbeerger collects real time data from thousands of beer taps every second and gathers the statistics in a remote cloud server. The data uses for tracing real time consumption trends per region/time or even for specific campaign.
By using SAP HANA, our clients can virtually look at the hot spot map of consumption in a city/country , changing in real time every 5 secs! An ability we couldn't have before.

We work with PHP, linux and SQL. We were highly impressed with the integration process learning curve!
we had to build a proxy tomcat server and it would have been great to have PDO for faster integration.
