As the Social Ambassador for Mobile I am planning to make your experience thrilling by highlighting ‘must see’ content in the Mobile Campus. In my search to bring you interesting sessions to attend at TechEd, I have come across a number that are either hosted by, or contain our SAP CIO Oliver Bussmann. I was lucky enough to meet Oliver face to face last year at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, where I interviewed him and BC Cho of Samsung (see the interview here – http://www.sapvirtualevents.com/mobile-world-congress/sessiondetails.aspx?sId=1131) and I know that he is extremely enthusiastic and promotes that SAP Runs SAP Mobile. In fact that is the title of a 20 Minute Presentation by Oliver Bussmann, which is currently scheduled for Wednesday 14 November 16:25-16:45. I think Oliver’s session abstract says it all…”With over 45,000 mobile devices in use, learn how SAP is realizing significant business benefits from mobilizing employees worldwide. Our early, aggressive adoption of a sound mobile strategy is transforming our workforce with mobile technologies – driving growth and revenue by increasing collaboration internally and with global customers“. So come along meet Oliver and learn from our experience.

Oliver also readily promotes BYOD within SAP and just as strongly advises the use of Afaria, which secures employee and corporate devices. He has also recently announced plans to roll out the new Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung devices alike within SAP. The areas around consumerization, device Management and Security and more will be covered by a  30 Minute Panel Discussion  – ‘Discuss the Impact of Consumer Technology on Your Enterprise’ hosted by Join Chris Marsh, Yankee Group Analyst and where Oliver will also be a panel member. More and more companies are embracing consumer technology to succeed in a dynamic, consumer-driven world. Listen to representatives of leading companies discuss how they have achieved business transformation by implementing mobile apps and technologies, including smartphones and tablets. This panel is currently scheduled for Wednesday 13 November 11:00-11:30

They say all good things come in three’s so I want to make you lastly aware of a 30 Minute Panel Discussion that Oliver will attend on Wednesday 14 November 11:00-11:30, entitled ‘Chat with CIOs About Trends and Challenges in Enterprise Mobility’. So come along and join this general discussion with CIOs who have adopted enterprise mobility. Learn from their experiences on how they have faced business and technology challenges. Listen and take notes, as the panel, discuss how enterprise mobility has opened up new opportunities to innovate and transform their businesses.
