Join us at SAP TechEd in Las Vegas

In the upcoming SAP TechEd events there will be various sessions that will talk about SAP Netweaver Gateway.

In this blog I will talk about the sessions we will offer at and around SAP Teched in Las Vegas .

I would like to take the chance to give an overview about some of those and what to expect.

InnoJam

As a Pre-Conference Event our team will support the Inno Jam in Las Vegas. Here you will have the chance to get your fingers dirty if you decide to participate and build your prototype on top of OData services published by SAP Netweaver Gateway.

Lecture and Hands-On Sessions

The SAP Netweaver Gateway team will host the following three lecture and hands-on sessions at SAP TechEd:

CD160 – SAP Netweaver Gateway development for beginners

In this hands-on session we will guide you through the process of building an end-to-end solution that exposes SAP Business Suite data as an Open Data Protocol (OData) service which will then be consumed via a Web user interface (UI). The new SAP NetWeaver Gateway Service Builder provides both experienced and less experienced developers with an easy-to-use set of tools for creating services.

This session will be conducted by Jin Shin from the Rapid Innovation Group (RIG) and Oliver Liemert the Product Owner of the SAP Netweaver Gateway Service Builder.

CD204 – SAP Netweaver Gateway and OData in detail

Want to learn and see how to create open data protocol (OData) services with SAP NetWeaver Gateway but don’t have time to attend a hands-on session? Then this session is for you! We will show you in several demos how easy it is to create OData services and how to support advanced OData functionality. In addition you will learn about customer experiences from our customer Deloitte Services.

This session will be conducted by Adi Kavaler VP from SAP NetWeaver Gateway Product Management and Stephan Herbert who is the Chief Product Owner of SAP NetWeaver Gateway. My colleagues will be joined on stage by John Irvin who is BI Manager at Deloitte Services. John will share with you his experiences when working with SAP NetWeaver Gateway

TEC107 – SAP NetWeaver Gateway Overview – Road Map and Strategy

You want to learn more about the future of SAP NetWeaver Gateway. Then this session is for you.

This session is hosted by Mustafa Saglam Director from SAP NetWeaver Gateway Product Management

CD109 – How the University of Mississippi Runs Better with NetWeaver Gateway

Ole Miss runs SAP for its enterprise and student system. OleMiss would then like to walk you through the architecture behind two applications that have recently been undertaken using SAP NetWeaver Gateway: the Ole Miss iPad app that was built in collaboration with Mercury Intermedia and an automated attendance-monitoring system that we are using to monitor attendance in classrooms at the university.
