Hear Customer Stories at #SAPTechEd – check out the #ASUG Sessions

After last year’s SAP TechEd Las Vegas, some of the feedback we received from our fellow ASUG Volunteers was that we were lacking customer stories.   As a result, SAP TechEd Content Manager Christina Miller encouraged ASUG to select customer stories for ASUG sessions at TechEd.

How can you locate these sessions?  Go to http://www.sapteched.com/12/usa/home.htm home page for Las Vegas:

Select My Agenda/Sessions, shown above

Select the link Customer-driven lectures and Influence activities.   Then you should see the ASUG sessions (does not  include ASUG Influence).  You can also click this quick link

To find ASUG Influence sessions, enter ASUG Influence in the search and press the magnifying glass. In addition to BI, BW, EIM ASUG Influence sessions, there are influence sessions on Cloud, Virtualization, Landscape Transformation, Solution Manager, Security and Portals.

Some sessions to consider are as follows:

ALM118   A Data Refresh Strategy at Kimberly-Clark

ALM120   Application Lifecycle Management Testing with SAP Solution Manager at BNSF

ALM227   Moving to the Cloud – The U.S. Army’s Virtualization Story

AP212   Implementation of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation as an SAP Ramp-Up Customer

CD109   How the University of Mississippi Runs Better with NetWeaver Gateway

EIM114 Agile and Sustainable BI Architecture with Intel

MOB206  Lifecycle Management of Mobile Apps with Sybase Unwired Platform and SAP Afaria with General Motors

TEC130  Improving Productivity Standards with SAP HANA at Charmer Sunbelt Group

TEC212  Lessons Learned from Migrating from a GUI to SAP NetWeaver Business Client

From the SAP.com website: “ Rather than hearing from SAP how our solutions can benefit your organization, what better way is there than to hear it from customers themselves.”

Consider adding ASUG sessions to your SAP TechEd agenda today.

Another excellent tip Tammy! Real life experience trumps sales pitches every time.
