Important settings for 0HR_PY_1 for smooth data extraction

The datasource 0HR_PY_1 extracts payroll data in HR module.

If we just install 0HR_PY_1 datasource in R3 side, Replication and activation of datasource in BW side is not enough to extract and load data.

Configuration setting 1

Assignment of payroll data to BW month:

After replication and activation of datasource, exta extraction remains yellow eventhough the R3 job for data extraction gets completed.

This is because, country grouping setting needs to be done for that particular client in R3 system.

Goto SBIW-> Settings for Application-specific Datasources(PI)-> Human Resources-> Payroll Plug-in-> Assignment of Payroll Data to BW month

Click on New entries:

Using serach help, choose the required country grouping based on the client location:

Enter Time-Based Assign. as “End Date of For-Period.

Click on Save.

Now the data load will finish successfully.

Configuration Setting 2

While loading payroll data to BW system, it extracts zero records eventhough payroll data exist in ECC system.

In order to resolve this issue, below mentioned profile needs to be included in the ALEREMOTE background user for BW extraction in ECC system.

Profile name: P_BAS_ALL

Once this profile gets added to background user for BW extraction in ECC system, then payroll data gets extracted to BW system.
