Use
As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Human Capital Management, Enhancement Package
4 (EA-HR 604), the HCM, Administrative Services 02 (HCM_ASR_CI_2) business function is
- available. You use this business function to activate the following additional functions for HR
Administrative Services:

HCM_ASR_CI_2: Services for Manager Self-Service (New)
Use
As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Human Capital Management, Enhancement Package
4 (EA-HR 604), Business Function HCM, Administrative Services 02 (HCM_ASR_CI_2), new
services are available for integrating HCM Processes and Forms with Manager Self-Service
(MSS). These services were developed in Web Dynpro for ABAP.
Managers can use the new services to start mass processes, start organizational processes,
display running processes, and check statuses.
MSS
The following services from HCM Processes and Forms area are now available to managers:
Workset: Team
o Start Process for Employee
o Start Process for Multiple Employees
o HCM Process Overview
o Employee-Related Process Overview
Workset: Organization
o Start Organizational Process
o Search Organizational Processes
o Organization-Related Process Overview
o HCM Process Overview
Effects on Existing Data
The Start Processes link has been replaced with Start Process for Employee.
You must integrate the new services into the Manager Self-Service portal role of the Business
Package for Manager Self-Service 1.4.
Effects on Customizing
You use the business function HCM_ASR_CI_1 to activate any new Customizing entries. You
do not need to make any additional Customizing settings for MSS.
HCM_ASR_CI_2: New Functions in Design Time for Processes and Forms
(New)
Use
As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Human Capital Management, Enhancement Package
4 (EA-HR 604), Business Function HCM, Administrative Services 02 (HCM_ASR_CI_2), new
functions are available in Design Time for Processes and Forms. These functions allow you to
define processes with the following characteristics:
o Start Process without Object Selection
You can start an employee-related process and skip employee selection until a later
stage in the process, proceeding directly to process selection screen. This is also
available for organizational processes. This is useful if you want to start a process, but do
not have the employee or organization data immediately available.
o Start Process for Multiple Employees
You can start a process for more than one employee at the same time. This can be a
single-step or multi-step process. This saves time and effort as you can enter data for
several employees at once in a table.
o Start Organizational Process
You can start a process for the object types Job, Position, or Organizational Unit. It can
be necessary to start processes for object types other than employee, for example, if you
want to create a new position, you use object type Position.
It is also possible to perform the following tasks:
o Search Organizational Processes
You can search for organizational processes.
o Open Organizational Processes
You can see a list of all in progress organizational processes.
o HCM Process Overview
You can see all open employee and organization-related processes in a single table. This
allows you to easily scan through all processes that are in progress, without having to
switch between screens for employee and organization data.
Effects on Existing Data
o The service Start Process for Employee replaces Start Processes, but maintains the
same functions.
o The service Search Employee Processes replaces Find Processes, but maintains the
same functions.
o The service Open Employee Processes replaces Open Processes, but maintains the
same functions.
These services are found in workset Work Overview for HR Administrator in the Portal.

For the documentation for Design Time, see SAP Library. The Customizing activities whose
settings are covered by Design Time have a dialog box that refers you to the Design Time Tool.
The documentation for these activities also refers to Design Time.

Use
As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Human Capital Management, Enhancement Package

Effects on Customizing
You make the Customizing settings for the new sample processes in Customizing for
Personnel Management under HR Administrative Services -> Configuration of
Forms/Processes -> Sample Processes for HCM Processes and Forms
HCM, Business Package for HR Administrator 1.41 (New)
Use
If you activate the HCM, Administrative Services 02 (HCM_ASR_CI_2) business function and
want to use the portal content to start processes, you have to install the Business Package for
HR Administrator 1.41.
This Business Package includes all new and updated services available.
HCM_ASR_CI_2: Functions for Configuring Processes and Forms (New)
Use
As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Human Capital Management, Enhancement Package
4 (EA-HR 604), Business Function HCM, Administrative Services 02 (HCM_ASR_CI_2), the
following new functions are available for HR Administrative Services:
New Functions for Configuring Processes and Forms
o You can perform Customizing to set business status for processes to appear in the
process browser.
o You can set up e-mail notification, so that when a work item appears in the worklist, an email
is sent to the relevant processor.
o You can run the test report for Personnel Development (PD) processes.
Effects on Existing Data
There is a new column in the process browser displaying the business status for processes.
The e-mail notification can now be used for PD tasks.
There is a new Application option, PD, in the test report that allows you to test a process with
application type PD.
Effects on Customizing
For the new and updated functions for configuring processes and forms see the following
activities in Customizing for Personnel Management:
HR Administrative Services -> Configuration of Forms/Processes -> Process
Configuration -> Set Up Processes -> Maintain Business Status. Here you can create
business status text and assign it to specific processes.
HR Administrative Services -> Configuration of Forms/Processes -> Process
Configuration -> Test Process. Here you can test a Personnel Administration (PA) or PD
- Process.
HR Administrative Services -> Configuration of Forms/Processes -> Process
Configuration -> Enhanced Messages -> Enhanced Notifications of SAP Business
