Way to test the existence of Text Modules used in Adobe Forms

Hi All,

Just wanted to share with all of you a small information.

Lets say you have been given a maintenance of a project dealing with SAP adobe forms. In this case you might have a lot of text modules. In my case a project came where the forms and text modules were moved using transports from one SAP instance to the other. Many of the text modules were missed, I did not go and do the F4 on the SMARTFORMS transaction. Instead, I went into display mode of Adobe forms and then from Context Tab I navigate to the LAYOUT tab. By doing so, Adobe Form internally checks if the Text Modules (Associated with the TEXT NODES created in Context tab) are available in the system or not. If Not then an error message comes and tells that a particular text node has a problem as the Text Module associated with it is not available in the system.

Please have a look at this functionality also.

Rgds,

Nitin.
