There’s Something New in Performance Management Today

By Chris Grundy, SAP EPM Solution Marketing

It’s new. It’s different. And it has the potential to release the power of performance management insight to users across your organization. This is an enterprise performance management (EPM) solution like you’ve never seen before. And that’s not marketing hype; it’s just me really excited to finally be able to talk about our cool new EPM product (and yes, Dave, you can use cool and EPM in the same sentence!):

SAP Enterprise Performance Management OnDemand (SAP EPM OnDemand)

Best-practice-based. Mobile-ready applications powered by the SAP HANA application cloud. Expense insight. Real-time profit and loss (P&L) analysis. Capital project planning. And the ability to extend these and other EPM capabilities to users across the enterprise. Can you see why I’m so excited?

And with a consumer-type interface and a lower total cost of ownership, I know finance teams will be eager to step into the cloud with performance management on-demand, giving their enterprise users access to performance insight and data in a hybrid on-premise and on-demand solution.

General availability of SAP EPM OnDemand was announced today, September 10, by Sanjay Poonen in his keynote at the ASUG SAP BusinessObjects User Conference  in Orlando.

If you’re at the ASUG SAP BusinessObjects User Conference this week, make sure to attend the SAP EPM OnDemand (#EPMOD) sessions to learn more about this exciting new performance management solution, especially ”Introducing SAP Enterprise Performance Management OnDemand” at 4:30pm EST, in Europe 1.

And if you want to learn even more about SAP EPM OnDemand – whether you’re at the conference or not – register for the SAP Enterprise Performance Management OnDemand webcast on 19th September, which will provide information on the three new on-demand solutions available now.
