OK, so my first post!

First post to my blog (had to take training first) will be about systems working as they should.

Last friday, my mail accout was migrated to a new mailserver. Ok, so what’s the issue you might think?

Well after the migration of course the SAP Afaria Mobile Device Management (MDM) started to update but also enforce the policies on peoples devices, for me there was minor issues that I could overcome (since I’m a geek) but for some of my collegues suddenly there was no contacts, no email…nothing = frustration.

What happened was that the MDM policies that had been enforced was effectively blocking updates to the devices which where not compliant.

It’s good to know that things are actually working even though it might be a hassle sometimes.
