This Document will allow the user to select “Chart or Table” as a parameter in the Report according to their requirement. If the user wants to see only chart in the report then user can select chart as the parameter value and pass, if the user need table means then user can select the table as the parameter value and view the report.

Step 1

  • Open a Blank Report in Sap Crystal report 
  • select the database
  • click ok

Step 2

  • Drag and drop the fields in the details and preview Table
  • Then open Design tab and make a chart on the Report header

Step 3

  • Create a Parameter called “Chart or Table
  • Type as  “ String” and value as  “Static
  • Click ok

Step 4

  • Drag and Drop the Parameter to the report

Step 5

  • Right click the Report Header
  • Go to Selection Expert

  • In the Report Header Click Suppress(No Drill-Down)
  • Write a formula   {?Chart or Table}=’Table’

  • And In the Page Header and the Detail go to Suppress(No Drill-Down)
  • Write a formula   {?Chart or Table}=’Chart’

Step 6

  • The final step to save the report and
  • Click on the Refresh Button and Enter the Parameter

  • Enter Chart as a parameter
  • Click ok

  • Again Click Refresh Button and 
  • Enter Table and Click ok
