Test Drive SAP HANA on HP – SAP Labs Montreal

Today, I attended the Test Drive SAP HANA on HP event here on SAP Labs Montreal. Special thanks to Krista Elkin and Jonathan Druker for the invitation.

Here’s my quick wrap-up of the event.

The event started around 8:30 am in the Executive Briefing Centre with customer from different industries.

Steve Shaw from HP Canada started the event by showing us how SAP and HP work together to deliver the best SAP HANA solutions.

Then, Neil Robertson from SAP show us SAP HANA from the SAP side.

After a 20 minutes break, Neil show us how things work inside SAP HANA by doing a live demo of the SAP HANA Developer Studio and creating an Attribute, Calculation and Analytical View.

Finally, Brad Harris from SAP show us how to consume data from SAP HANA by using SAP Business Explorer and Dashboards on an IPad (Audience were provided with 4 IPads so they could test them themselves).

It was a really good event, where customers could the feeling of the speed and easy of use that only SAP HANA can deliver.

      Hi Blag,

      Yes, this was a good event. It's amazing to see how easy it is to build your own dashboard using the data coming from HANA and then see the result in real time on the iPad.
